He expressed happiness that a permanent solution has however been achieved fixing the repairs, assuring that after the test run residents will enjoy unhindered flow of water.

The Commissioner equally assured that aside from the metropolis, efforts are ongoing to see how the water can be reticulated to Zango and Felele areas of Lokoja.

He equally disclosed that the ongoing effort to ensure residents of Central Senatorial District enjoy potable water is experiencing appreciable progress.

He recalled with nostalgic feelings that he last experience water flow around 1986, but appreciated the efforts of Gov. Yahaya Bello to once again make the Okene Water Works that would feed the Central Senatorial District a going concern.
