It is a known fact that Alhaji Yahaya Bello is the most clueless governor in the history of Kogi state. How can he govern a state for 39 months and he owes 36 months’ salaries? What sort of leadership is that? I grew up in Kogi state, the Kogi I grew up was far better than what we have today under the leadership of Bello.
You can see the plight of Kogi civil servants and pensioners where people are forced to forgo 70 – 80% of their salaries and pensions every month.
Everything is wrong with this government; a governor that has not commissioned a single project since he was sworn in as Kogi governor.
Governor Bello is a colossal failure because he has not gotten anything right since he became governor.
As the election draws nearer by the day, the people of Kogi state have vowed not to return him to the Lugard House. The majority of people in Kogi state have adopted the Wada/Aro ticket. They have described Engr Musa Wada, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, as the “Moses” that will take them out of Egypt. The popularity and acceptance of Wada/Aro have caused serious confusion in the camp of Yahaya Bello and they have now resulted in threatening Kogi indigenes. We all saw the viral video of the APC zonal chairman in Kogi East, Ahmed Attah, threatening the indigenes of Kogi state not to bother coming home for the election, slated for November 16, 2019, if they are not ready to vote for Yahaya Bello of the All Progressive Congress.
He (Bello) should, therefore, be told that the curtains have closed on him and no matter how hard he tries he will never taste governance in Kogi state again because his helpless preys (civil servants and pensioners) will be on ground to consume him on the election day.
